We collect only the information necessary to provide seamless financial bookkeeping: • Account Profile: Full name, email address, securely hashed password, optional avatar, and interface preferences. • Financial Records: Wallet balances, transaction history, categories, budget limits, savings goals, debts/loans, and community dues. • Receipt Attachments: Images of purchase receipts and PDF invoices that you choose to upload. • Technical & Log Data: Encrypted session cookies, IP addresses for security auditing, and web push notification subscriptions (when enabled).

3. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is utilized strictly to: • Calculate and present real-time wallet balances, cash flows, and category summaries. • Generate visual charts for budget tracking, expense structures, and financial goal progress. • Safeguard account security via session encryption and optional two-factor authentication (2FA). • Deliver recurring transaction reminders based on your chosen schedules.

4. Data Protection & Security Architecture

We deploy modern security practices: • Password Security: Passwords are encrypted using modern standard hashing algorithms. • Private Authenticated Attachments: Uploaded receipt images and PDF documents are stored privately and delivered via authenticated stream endpoints, never exposed via open public symlinks. • Workspace Isolation: Workspaces are strictly separated at the database level to ensure no unauthorized cross-tenant data exposure.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Google Sign-In

When using Google Sign-In, we only receive essential profile data (name, email address, Google ID) necessary to authenticate you securely. We never access your emails, contacts, or unneeded Google services.

6. Your Rights and Data Control

You hold full autonomy over your records: • You may inspect, edit, or update your information at any time. • You have the right to delete transactions, attachments, wallets, or delete entire workspaces permanently from the active database.

7. Session Storage & Essential Cookies

Our platform only uses essential functional cookies to keep you signed in securely, validate CSRF tokens, and remember your visual theme preference (light, dark, or dim). We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking cookies.
